Lurve Challenges

Lurve Challenge - July 8, 2011

I've had a card sitting out on the kitchen counter for a week or so. It reads, "If you were going to die soon and had only one phone call you could make, who would you call and what would you say? And why are you waiting?"

It's a personal challenge for me. It reminds me not to wait. I don't want you to wait either. Today is the day to begin.

Lurve Challenge - July 3, 2011

Whenever I describe Lurve to someone, I always say it is like “pay it forward,” with a twist. Because a life can be transformed through love, I want to spread it around by doing little (and sometimes big) things for people everyday.

So, that's the challenge: Find three people for whom you can do something kind and unexpected. It doesn't have to be something huge, or even something that costs money - take a meal to a sick friend, bring a neighbor's trash cans back up to the house, write a hand-written note to someone to let them know you're thinking of them and drop it in the mail, etc.

Just like we see in the featured video, doing something for one person may inspire them to do the same.
